Well I finished the documentary Lemmy about who else, Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. If your a fan of rock then you MUST see this film, it's long as hell and you'll enjoy every second of it! Imagine getting to see into the life of Lemmy himself, that's what you get with this film. Also you get to hear great stories from the old days, see Lemmy perform several times, and hear a lot of great Motorhead music though out the entire film. My personal favorite part of the film was where Lemmy talked about the artists that influenced him and then you hear artists from today talking about how he influenced them. You must see this film, it was great!

Sony Entertainment Network

Ok so Sony has rebranded the Playstation Network the Sony Entertainment Network, fine I could care less. The only issue I have is that when I sign in to the Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) and accept new Terms of Service I get a message saying "AcceptAccountEulaException.API_RESULT_FAIL_INVALID_EULA_VERSION"

Great so I can't even accept their terms and get on with my life. Nice Sony, you tell me I have to accept your new terms and when I scroll all the way though terms and then hit accept I get told that my acceptance is invalid. Well Sony I have one thing to say to you, “Oh yeah well you’re a towel”, but really Sony after hacking disaster and all the other bad press you’ve had don’t you think maybe you should make sure everything works BEFORE you force the user to use it or agree to it? I swear if I worked in the Sony PR Department I’d walk into my boss’s office lay my company ID on is desk throw my hands up and so “I’m out!”, I swear if the PR dept. isn’t in a constant state of drunkenness at this point they will be after this fuck up!

Come on Sony get your act together, you used to be known for quality, now your becoming a joke brand.

Fun side note Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) if reversed is Network Entertainment Sony (NES) To all the old school gamers out there just think about that for a second N.E.S? If you don’t at least know what I’m talking about at this point you can no longer call your self a gamer, since I’m not even a gamer and I saw that right away!

Tucker & Dale vs Evil

Well I just finished Tucker & Dale vs Evil, it's a spoof of the teenagers getting killed in the woods horror film. The gags are never ending, the stupidity is hilarious, and without giving anything away it's funny as hell! It's on Netflix Instant so you have no reason not to watch, and damn it it's not a waste of time it's totally worth it!

Well everyone is upset about Mitt Romney's statement about not caring about the poor or the rich. Personally I couldn't care less, the only thing that's nice is a Republican is telling the truth, he doesn't care about the poor. It makes him a scum bag but at least he's a little more honest scum bag.

Now before I go on let me clear one thing up. I hate the Democrats and the Republicans, the only reason I can vote for Democrats is this. Both parties are rapping the American people in the ass, it's just that the Democrats use lube when they rape us.

Ok now that I've got all that out of the way, let me get to the point. During the interview Mitt Romney uses the term "Democrat Party" as his little jab at the Democratic Party. This has been used by the Republicans for several years now, and this has always bugged me. The Republicans are always talking about wanting to be respected and yet they can not show any respect to anyone. They play this little game, that they think is so clever, where they say Democrat party rather than showing any respect and saying Democratic Party. Seriously what is this, short hand for assholes? Plus you have the House making demands for everything they want and not giving in on even one thing the Democrats want and when everyone gives in to the house Republicans and gives them everything they demanded then the Republicans say it's not enough and demand more! Now how am I supposed to show them any respect when they are grown adults acting like spoiled little brat two year olds?

Honestly is you want respect you have to earn it, if I had gone to my boss and said "hey old man I need more hours" he would have seen that I had no respect for him and not only not given me more hours but more than likely found a way to fire me. Now if I had gone to him and said "Excuse me sir can I have a minute? I would like to ask you for some more hours, I could really use the money and I'm willing to do the extra work for it" that's called showing respect and it pays off in the end. That's the problem today the Republicans stopped showing respect to anyone outside the party and now that has led to everyone outside the party showing them no respect.

Now I'm not saying we show them respect and kill them with kindness, no in fact I'm going to advocate the opposite. show them no respect, I'll start with this, instead of calling them "The Republican Party" lets call them "the republic party". And from now on replace every Republican logo with the Republic Services logo. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Republic Services is a trash company, they handle trash every day. So really in the end it would just be telling the truth, the company picks up the trash and the party spews it right back at us!

Well I just finished watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and well....South Park had it right in the episode The China Problem, Indie got rapped in the ass by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. I know it took me 4 years to watch this but I had to work up the courage to watch Idie get anal raped over and over. In my view there are three Indiana Jones films, then there is what ever this piece of shit was.

Weird Dream, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Ok so Thursday I had the weird ass dream and every since I woke up it's been on my mind. I have no idea why I can't shake it, and I can't figure out why it's bugging me. I haven't been able to focus on anything since I woke up because my mind keeps going back to the dream, I tried watching TV, surfing the net, even reading Wikipedia articles (which if you know me you know I can get lost on Wikipedia for hours) and nothing worked. Even while I was working I was driving to make my deliveries and I tried listening to my favorite show on SiriusXM, I tried listening to an audio book, I even tried just turning everything off and just driving and that made it worse, I tried to listen to some music I want to use in my show and tried to thing about the scenes that would correspond to the songs but even that didn't work. Finally I just gave up and put the new Lacuna Coil album in and just thought about the dream over and over trying to figure it out and figure out why it was bugging me. Sadly I still haven't figured it out and so that is why I am typing this, I'm hoping maybe by putting it out there someone will be able to give me a clue as to what it could mean and why it's bugging the hell out of me.

Ok so here's the dream: It all starts with me standing on a small square porch in front of a door of a house I've never seen before, then the door opens and Ellen Page walks out with a long sleeve mesh shirt on and some woman I've never seen before standing in the door way. Now Ellen and I are facing each other with the woman standing in the door way looking at the both of us. This is when Ellen says to me "do you like my body armor?" to which I ask ""What body armor?". She then says "My shirt, it's my body armor" and I respond "yeah it's nice but I don't see how it's body armor since it's mesh and I can see right threw it". At this point I notice that she has a nipple pierced with a small bar on the right breast, since after all it is mesh and I can see right threw it.

Somehow we are now driving and old station wagon down Tuscarawas to go to Walmart and she is driving with me in the passenger seat. I look over at her and look at the small bar in her nipple again and ask "so when did you get that piercing?", she looks down and then over to me and says "well I guess it was sometime in 95, but I can't really remember". I sit there for a minute and think about what she said and then ask in a stunned and confused voice "how old were you?" to which she responds "well I was born in 75". Right then here phone rings and she looks at it and says "hold I've got a text".

Now I'm standing outside Walmart with the women from the door way before picking up flower pots of all sizes and I say "let me get a cart, this is way to much to handle by hand" to which she responds "just get Ellen she can carry some". So I stand up look into the parking lot and there is Ellen sitting on the hood of the station wagon with her feet on the bumber and her arms on her knees kind of hunched over all the while looking at me and smiling, I start walking over to her and after about five or six steps I woke up.

Ok so there's the dream, I know it's totally fucked up and I can't figure out why it's bugging me. If anyone thinks they are crazy enough to figure this out, PLEASE let me know, there are no wrong answers here and if you suggest something that I've already ruled out I'll let you know...in a nice way of course.

Oh and I guess I should just go ahead and get this out of the way, yes I do have a crush on Ellen Page, so don't suggest that, I already know that one! Also, the whole "I was born in 75" thing she was born in 1987 and while I didn't know that off hand, I did know she was younger that me and have known that for several years now, that makes it even more weird...like it wasn't strange enough before!

Green Lantern

Well I just finished Green Lantern and while I don't think it was as bad as everyone made it out to be, it wasn't great. It was more like the Superman reboot, die hard fans will love it, the rest of us who like Batman and the good hero's will think it's just an alright film and worth a watch once. The best part of the film was Ryan Reynolds, he made the film, it it was anyone but him this would have been a total flop. But yes the CGI was way over the top. All in all worth a watch if you've got Neflix.

Ok so on the whole Marines pissing on dead terrorists thing, well first let me say I have no respect personally for the terrorists, they are religious nut jobs using hit and run tactics to kill American warriors and while effective it has no honor unlike our brave men and women.

Now let me quote a ancient Greek saying "to know your opponent you must first look thought his eyes". So lets try that, lets say that the movie Red Dawn really happened and for ten years the soviets occupied the United States and one day killed four Americans then took pictures of themselves pissing on the dead bodies and let those pictures get out. Americans would demand blood for such a thing! Then imagine that we saw Russians saying that they should do that even more, we'd go ballistic.

What I'm saying in the last paragraph is every time you see something that someone is outraged by try to see it from their view try to understand why they are outraged. "Where ignorance is bliss 'tis folly to be wise." Thomas Gray.

We as Americans must take the moral high ground, it is though constant respect that we can build trust with the world. The longer we continue to lower ourselves to the terrorists standards the longer we open ourselves to attack.

Oh and to clear up something I said in the beginning, when I said the terrorists were "religious nut jobs" I'm not saying all Muslims are "religious nut jobs" just the ones who have hijacked the Muslim faith in the name of terror. Much like the kkk hijacked the Christian faith in the name of racial terror.

Killer Elite

Well I just finished Killer Elite and while it's not the best film I've seen and it leaves a lot to be desired it was still a great film and worth a rental. I have to say it was refreshing to have an action flick with a decent plot, to really describe it is would be a very well written story wrapped with some great action sequences. The only reason I'm not totally sold on the film is something I can't explain, I was never really drawn into the film so much as I was just watching it, and the whole thing just left me wanting something more with out knowing what that something was. The acting was great though it did seem limit De Niro and Clive Owen who could have provided so much more to a film dominated by Jason Statham, who is by no mean a bad actor it just seems a little excessive. Like I said it's a good watch and worth the rental but I don't think I'll ever buy it, even from the $5 bin at walmart.

Horrible Bosses

Well I just finished the black comedy Horrible Bosses, and while it had a few good laughs over all it was a major let down. The whole film just seemed to try way to hard to be funny to the point that it stopped being funny. The acting was fine, the plot was good, but the writing it's self was the problem. The Hangover 2

I am so glad I bought this film! The Hangover 2 was almost as good as the first one and the first one was great! Just like the first one this was full of funny twists, great sight gags, and Zach Galifianakis, nuf said. I have so much more to say about this film but if I do I will start to give things away, so I'll just say this if you saw and enjoyed the first hangover, you must see The Hangover 2!

The Captains

Well I just finished watching the film The Captains, it's a documentary by William Shatner talking to all the people who played Captain in Star Trek. Now yes it's Shatner doing the interviewing so you will hear a lot of stories from the Shatman but if you don't expect that then you'll have no interest in this anyways. The film really goes into the history of the actors work, and their personal life's. You'll see great interviews, but I think by far Sir Patrick Stewart was the best interview (no that's not because he's the best captain) it's very interesting stuff. I have only one thing negative to say about the film, Avery Brooks had to be drunk during his interview. Kate Mulgrew and Scott Bakula really give some great insight into what happens to the home life when your the captain on the show. Chris Pine didn't really add much to the film, but the again other than having an actor for a dad he really had to history, so you really can't hold that against him. Over all I'd say give it a try if your a fan of the Star Trek franchise.

Red Riding Hood

Well today I watched the film Red Riding Hood and what a waste of time that was! It takes just a few small details from the original story of Little Red Riding Hood and mixes it with mid-evil christian beliefs that then take a turn to the odd by using pre-Roman torture and catholic priests having wife and children....I am not making this up! The whole thing is bundled up, as far as I can tell since I've never seen any of the films, in a thin twilight look. Everything from the actors to the sparkly forest, hell the girl playing Red Riding Hood is in love with a werewolf! If I had know even half of this before renting it I would have never bothered renting this total piece of shit! Avoid at all costs!

Unstoppable

I just finished the film Unstoppable and even though the ending is completely obvious it's still damn good. Denzel Washington plays his part wonderfully as we've all come to expect from this fine actor of our time, Chris Pine is able to hold is own with Denzel Washington which is not easy. The "Inspired by True Events" that flashes at the beginning does ring true since several things were exaggerated but still not so far out there that it pulls you out of the film. If you were on the fence about this film like I was before I saw it trust me when I saw this, you will enjoy this film.

Shitty day, shitty shitty day!

Well the day just started out shitty, after only about 3 hours of sleep the window cleaning company that my mom has come to the house showed up and made as much noise as they possibly could and of course woke me up. So I spent the rest of the day trying to get back to sleep until it was just to close to time for me to get up and I just gave up and got out of bed. I'll be nice and not name the company, but damn it I hate them!

Now this part takes a quick back story, Saturday mom and I went to Perkins for dinner just to get out of the house and she was nice enough to pay for the dinner. Well the whole time the waitress was flirting with me so much that on the way home my mom said she would have needed a banner and a marching band to be more obvious. Hell even after mom had paid she was still flirting, so I know I should have gone for it right then and there but I was with my mom so that would have been awkward plus I wasn't feeling my best thanks to my IBS, so I didn't go for it. Well Sunday before work I decided to go for it and she wasn't there, so I went back Monday night and asked the girl working the front if she was there. She said no and asked why, so I told her that she had been flirting will me a lot Saturday night and I didn't get the chance to act on so I thought I'd come back and see if I could get her number. The girl got a very concerned look on her face and said "I'm sorry but she has a boyfriend and she does this to every guy who comes in, she's even given guys fake phone numbers just to get a better tip". So I thanked her and walked out and went to work. So yes I am Butters from the South Park episode "Raisins", I guess it's time for the world to feel the wrath of Professor Chaos.....so yeah you'll never notice that I've done anything....just like Butters......

To top off the whole night I barely avoided getting hit three times on my way to the Rep, then I was locked out of the Rep right up until they started printing and I had to go to the other side of the building and get in through a door that was propped open then walk though an area that I'm not even supposed to be in just so I could get the damn door open! And of course the Rep took for even to print, but that's no surprise, the only surprise you get from the Rep is when they print on time. Oh and of course I to put up with about 100 assholes in a very small parking lot waiting to get the new Call of Duty out in Mansfield at the GameStop next to the Starbucks that I deliver to. I understand you want your game but you don't need to be a flaming asshole about it, god I hate humans.....

So yes tonight there will be drinking, I don't drink all the time but when I do I enjoy it.

Green Street

Well I re-watched Green Street Hooligans just to see how they have aged, plus it's just a damn good film. It a great film about two guys from different parts of the world and social standings coming together and become friends, in in the end becoming more like the other person.

Now what really made me see this film again was Elijah Wood and Charlie Hunnam, now I say them because well Elijah Wood is the star of Wilfred and Charlie Hunnam is the star of Sons of Anarchy both of which are hit shows on FX right now. Now how is that for coincidence?

Captain America: The First Avenger

Well I watched Captain America: The First Avenger and I have to admit Marvel can make a damn good movie. The story was great, the acting was perfect, and the special effects were amazing! If you haven't seen it yet do yourself a favor and see this film!

Hanna

Well I just watched the movie Hanna and all I can say is the plot write up was far better than the actual movie. You never really knew what was going on though out the film, the acting was alright at best, the story was weaker then wet tissue paper, and the constant techno music for every little bit of action (even just running) got old real fast. If you ask me, I say skip it.

American: The Bill Hicks Story

I just finished watching the documentary American: The Bill Hicks Story and if your a fan of Bill Hicks like me you must see this documentary! It tells the story of Bill hicks from being a young boy and all the way though his careers development though all the ups and the downs. It uses some great animations, pictures, and video from some of his performances to really tell the whole story of Bill Hicks life. If you enjoy Bill Hicks and want to know his life story you have to see this as soon as you can, you won't be disappointed.

Red State

I just finished Red State and I have to say, while not the best horror movie, it's not bad. It had it's moments but over all it was just ok. The acting was great, the story was fantastic, it just didn't seem that scary, or horrifying. It's still worth watching, don't get me wrong, just don't expect to be scared out of your mind.

I just finished Batman: Year One and I loved it! I've never read the comic, but everything I read said the film stuck to the comic almost word for word. I did like how they skipped past all the training leading up to coming back to Gotham and just got right to Bruce becoming Batman. Batman Begins covered the training quite well and there really was no need to go over that again since we all know the story any way. Over all it was a great film, the animation was fantastic, the voices were good, though Bruce Wayne / Batman was a little off, then again for me if it's an animated Batman the voice has to be done by Kevin Conroy, but I grew up with Batman TAS so I will always think of him as the voice of Batman. If you haven't seen Batman: Year One yet do yourself a favor and see it, this shows up any movie they make about the boy scout any day!

Google is axing more services!

Well it's official, Google is axing more services. Here's the articale with the list of cuts for this round: Google Axes More Services: Jaiku, Buzz, Code Search & More. Ok first of all Buzz is the only one I've used in this list, and most of the others I've never even herd of. The bigger point for me is why should take the time to learn a new Google product since they will just kill it off once I get the hang of it. That having been said, I don't think they should kill Buzz, I think they should take it out of Gmail (which was a dumbshit move in the first place) give it it's own website and let it operate like Twitter. You would still want to have it integrated with Google Plus like it is now, but also have it's own page so people can just follow it like they would Twitter, really I think if they had done that from the beginning it could have worked, and if they were to do it now they would have to stick it out for a year or two to get people to understand it and use it more and more, and we all know that will never happen since the people at Google have the patience of an eight year old with ADD after eating a pound of sugar and drinking a two liter of mountain dew.

It's sad really, Buzz really could have been something if they would have given it a chance.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Ok I just finished watching Transformers: Dark of the Moon and typical Michael Bay lots of CGI and explosions, but no real substance. Really I'd love to be in on one of those production meetings, I can see it now "Ok first five minutes we'll show that we can splice 1960's video into fake 1960's that we shoot, then spend the rest of the film showing the machines transforming and blowing shit up, and it will all be based around this story line I wrote on the back of this cocktail napkin."

Michael Bay = Hack Jobs R Us.

Shia LaBeouf was his usual twitchy self. I don't think I'm going to ruin anything here when I say if you've see the first two you'll see this coming before you even hit play, Here is the character in a nut shell, I'm in love, I'm trying to live a normal life, Autobots need my help, in the end the wizard give's me courage so I can save the day and get the girl. And the audience is left wondering if, with a performance that bad, was it a chimp in a man suit?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley should stick to modeling since she obviously can't act. She was painful to watch, after that performance it makes you wonder "how bad could one little hitler comment really be?"

Basically the whole film dragged on WAY to long, had a very weak script and that's putting it very nicely, and really seemed to jump around for no point all the way though. They need to strap Michael Bay's ass to a rocket, fire it to Cybertron, and reboot the whole thing with someone who actually know's what the hell their doing! What a waste, I'm just glad I didn't buy any of the DVD's and waste all that money.

First let it be known that I hate Apple and I hate Steve Jobs, that having been said I can't understand why so many people are upset. But what ever, worship the man if you choose.

What pisses me off is people getting mad when you make a Steve Jobs is dead joke. They say that it's cruel, that is makes you a horrible person, that you are cruel and inhumane. Where were these people when we were making Osama Bin Laden is dead jokes the night Obama made the announcement? Oh I see, if you like the guy it's cruel and inhumane, but if you don't like the guy it's funny as hell and you'll laugh right along with me! You can't have it both ways.

Now I did edit my post on Facebook out of respect for some one I care about, unfortunately I did not know some background information from him and now I fear I have hurt him. Now if I had known that beforehand I would have restrained myself, but I didn't know that beforehand so treated the death of Steve Jobs (someone I hate) just as I did the death of Osama Bin Laden (also someone I hate).

Now if I was on TV or radio and was asked my thoughts of the passing of Steve Jobs I would know that my words could possibly get back to the Jobs family I would censor myself and say something like "No Comment" or "My thoughts are with the Jobs family". But the thing I said was in a FRIENDS ONLY Facebook post, so the Jobs family were not going to see it! Now I know this begs the question would I crack jokes behind my friends backs? No, they are my friends and I would never do that, they are my friends so that means I like them, and that means I won't crack jokes, what I will do is been there for them and do what I could to help them though their pain. Now don't get me wrong, I've had a few relatives die that I didn't like, in fact there was one who 99% of people would be VERY sad about the passing of, and guess what when I was around the people who love the person I was kind, I listened to the stories, said nice things, and was over all just kind to the people. When I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, there was no way those very same people would ever hear what I said, then and only then did I let the jokes fly.

Oh and please remember that I cracked a ton of jokes about Steve Jobs when he was alive, hell even when he had cancer, so I'm not being an asshole (even though I am one) I being consistent! Also, and I can't stress this enough, please please please remember that I'm a cold heartless bastard who really does envy the dead.

You know I loved George Carlin and when he died I remember seeing and hearing things like "may he rot in hell" and "laugh now funny man" and other things that I didn't find funny. And yet I never got upset, I never was hurt, I just understood that for some people George Carlin was hated, and they were happy to see him go. And guess what, I still talk to those very same people, even after they said those things about some one I loved, you know why? Because it's their right to hate some one just like it's my right to hate some one, so I stood my ground, simply said my goodbye's, ignored the haters, and went on with my life.

Maybe people who love Steve Jobs should try that, ignore the haters morn your loss then get on with your life.

If you want Freedom and Liberty you have to accept the risk that comes with it, otherwise we will just live in a police state like The Soviet Union, the same Soviet Union our government told us was evil for spying on it's people. Les Misérables

Well I just finished watching the 1998 film version of Les Misérables, and having never seen it before and having no idea what it was even about, I have to say WOW. It was great, I'm very sorry I waited this long to see this one. The acting was great, Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush played off each other perfectly, Claire Danes played the innocent love struck girl wonderfully, and Uma Thurman was her usual ugly ass self with a fairly good performance for once. The sets for this film were amazing, and what make it even more amazing it that they were done in Prague, not that there is anything wrong with Prague, it's a beautiful city and very up to date, it's just when you think Prague you don't think settings that can rival Hollywood. I guess that's what you get when you use the real buildings instead of props!

And yes I know they changed the story up a little bit, and left out a few things from the novel, but over all it was the same basic story.

Everyone said this was The Hangover with women, um no The Hangover was funny as apposed to Bridesmaids which was just boring. Soccer vs. Football

So when I was in school I played soccer, and the guys who played football called me gay. So after years of torment I gave up and joined the football team since I wasn't "gay". (still not btw, sorry if you just lost a bet you had on me) Now mind you the whole time I played soccer I never saw another man's penis. The first day of football practice we're in the locker room changing and all I see is dick dick dick dick dick, then after practice it's the same thing with the addition of a bunch of naked guys showering together. When I didn't shower with them they called me gay. Now let me ask you something, whats more "gay" playing soccer or getting naked with a bunch of other men and showering together?

Also have you ever noticed how these football players date the smallest, skin and bone, boyish looking girls, you know the kind of girl who's weaker than a hamster with leukemia. Basically this was just a complete waste of time and film. Earlier today I watched the film The Mouse That Roared and while I had seen it many years ago on TV I never really got the point, now that I've seen it on DVD I get it. The whole story it a humorous way of saying let the little people control the superpowers. Peter Sellers as always plays several parts and pulls it off wonderfully as always. Just because it was released in 1959 don't be turned off, it still holds up even today.

The Russians Are Coming

Earlier today I watched a film called The Russians Are Coming, it was alright at best. You have to remember that it was made in 1966 so if your accustomed to humor the way it is nowadays then you will most likely find this boring. My personal view on this one was it had a few funny moments but at just over two hours it really seemed to drag on and on.

I do have to say that the ending was nice right up until the last two minutes, then it was totally unbelievable. Do I believe that two groups of people can come together and see past their differences for the common good? Yes. Do I believe that the U.S. Military would look the other way when a Russian sub was surfaced less than a mile from the U.S. coastline? Not a snowballs chance in hell.

In the end I guess I would have to say, Meh.

I just finished watching the TV series Reaper on Netflix Instant and I have no idea why the hell (no pun intended) they canceled it! This was a great show, it was funny, it was smart, it was compelling, it was 42 minutes of good times! Really they was they just canceled the show without giving a proper wrap up was just wrong, I want to know what the end of season two was all about! WHAT THE HELL CW NETWORK?

The Man Who Fell to Earth

I just finished forcing myself to sit though The Man who Fell to Earth and what a total piece of shit this was! First of all, once you finish it you will still wonder what the hell the point of this film was. Second, about half way though this 2 hour and 31 minute waste of film you will realize it's just an excuse to play fast tempo jazz while switching between psychedelic images and nudity, both female and male. Speaking of nudity if you have ever had the desire to see the penises of Rip Torn or David Bowie then you will love this film. Yes there is A LOT of full frontal nudity, not that I mind it was much more on the female side, it's just that it seemed like that was the point of the film, just create situations for people to get naked, there was no substance to this film! Basically just don't see this waste of time, it was horrible!

D-Generation X: One Last Stand

Ok so I just finished watching D-Generation X: One Last Stand on Netflix Instant, and I'm a little let down by this one. I own the first DX video and it was almost all the antics of DX and was really fun to watch. This one was mostly matches with Hunter and Shawn as a tag team. The part that was kind of nice was at the end showing HBK coming out after losing a loser leaves the WWE match and as soon as he got to the ring the Undertaker came out and tipped his hat to him and walked to the back, and then HBK gave his farewell speech, which was a little dopey, but what do you expect from HBK? Those I have to admit the very end is funny, Hunter and Shawn in DX shirts standing in a tank and then can't get the doors to close, classic DX. Over all I'd say watch it, but don't bother renting it, it's not that good.

First let me first say I support you in your efforts to bring justice to our world and expose the criminals for who they really are. Second and the reason I'm writing this post, it's time to go after some bigger fish, politicians though out the world would be good subjects. Being a US citizen I will focus on US politicians, but do not limit yourselves to just the USA, find them where ever they are, if they deserve it then bring them down!

Just to get you started may I suggest Grover Norquist, this scum sucking bastard has gotten such a hold on the republican party that they can not even have am adult discussion anymore. He was involved in the Iran-Contra Affair, he was closely involved with Jack Abramoff, he's stolen millions from people all over Asia, and several million from Native Americans (along with Jack Abramoff), he wants to cut all social programs that people need to be able to live with his "Starve the Beast" idea, and I could go on and on.

Now just let me clear something up, I am neither democrat not republican, I am independent. If I had a gun to my head and and to choose a label I would pick Socialist, but I'm not a pure Socialist, I understand human nature will never accept pure Socialism.

This has been just my suggestion, take it for what you will. I do not expect a responce, I just thought I'd throw this out there since no one can bring that scum sucker down, and politicians around the world need to be shown that we won't take this anymore. More than anything, I just wanted to get this off my chest and thought maybe by doing it I could inspire the Legion.

Tesla: Master of Lightning

I just finished Tesla: Master of Lightning a PBS documentary showing the rise and sad fall of Nikola Tesla. I've watched several documentaries on Tesla and I have to admit this one was one of the best. This really goes in depth on the history of the man how was over shadowed by Thomas Edison who stole almost everything he's famous for, something I've know for many years. If you are at all interested in historical documentaries then you have to see this film.

I just finished the movie Paul, oh my god was that funny! It's all dumb humor but that doesn't mean it's stupid! You will be laughing all the way though the film, it was written wonderfully, and the sci fi references are hilarious. you know what I'm not going to say anything else about the film other than just to say SEE IT!

Side note after posting this: I've read a lot of reviews about this film after posting this review and I just want to clear something up. Everyone complained about the fact the Paul smoked, what they all failed to see was the joke behind his smoking! He spent the entire film talking about evolution and how his people were so much more advanced than humans and all the while he's doing one of the dumbest things that humans do which is smoking. It's a non-verbalized joke, or to say it in a manner that these people can understand, it's a visual joke, see the humor in it and laugh dumbasses!

I just finished WWE: The Rise and Fall of WCW, and what a great look at the history of WCW! I have to give it to Vince, he let the real story be told, well they did change WWF to WWE, but they do that everywhere thanks to that douchebag court ruling in favor of the World Wildlife Fund. This film goes all the back to the formation of the NWA and takes you up to the acquisition by Vince and the WWE. It really was kind of fun to watch, plus it's steaming on Netflix right now so if your a wrestling fan or a former wrestling fan (like me) then give it a shot and re-live the fun times of wrestling!

I just finished The Secret Agent, and what a stinker this was! Very slow, very dark and really seemed not to have a point in the end. The acting was alright at best, except for Robbin Williams, his charater is great. He plays the part of an suicide bombing anarchist who is dark and uncaring in every way. After the recent debt ceiling crisis, political talk show host and Mr. Burns look alike, Pete Dominick made a joke about President Obama, I found it funny so I thought I'd post if for all to see.

If President Barack Obama was a car salesmen he'd say to you,

Obama: The price for the car is $60,000
You: I'll give you $30,000
Obama: Deal, lets go do the paper work.

The joke makes fun of how everything the Republicans wanted they got and Obama gave in on everything the Democrats wanted. Basically what the joke shows is how weak of a negotiator the President really is.

The joke is funny and sadly very true, and Stand Up with Pete Dominick is the only reason I keep my SiriusXM subscription, it's defiantly not for Howard Stern he's barley every on! Stern works three days for one weak for four hours a day and then goes on vacation for 1 to 3 weeks, and all he does when he is on air is bitch about how no one respects him and how he saved the company, and how he's suing the company for not give him more millions on top of the millions he already got from them. Meanwhile you have people like Pete Dominick working 5 days a week every week, only taking two maybe three weeks off per year who aren't making nearly as much as that egotistical blow hard Howard Stern!

Wow kind of went off on a tangent there, sorry. I've just been kind of pissed at Stern since that's the only reason I upgraded my subscription and he's never on. After two months of this I'm done, I'm going back to my basic XM subscription and saving some money. As long as i can listen to P.O.T.U.S. and hear Pete Dominick I have all I need, all the other channels suck anyway.

Inferno: The Making of 'The Expendables'

I just watched Inferno: The Making of 'The Expendables' basically the behind the scenes of The Expendables but it's really so much more than that. This film really dives into the making of an action film. Anyone who is interested in making film should really watch this film, it really shows the film making process. The whole thing is narrated by Sylvester Stallone and really is fun to listen to his views on writing and directing, and all his stories from previous films. Sadly the only place I can find it is on Netflix Instant, I can't find on DVD anywhere and I really wish I could since I would buy it in a heart beat. I did however find that it's a BlueRay exclusive, so even though I already own the DVD of The Expendables I will most likely be buying the BlueRay now.

Also when you watch this you have to watch for the "film critic" that they interview on the set, this guy has the dumbest looking beard I have ever seen! Basically he's clean shaven every where except for the sideburns all the way down and under his neck. And the whole thing is big and bushy and he's got really red hair so it just looks really dumb (as if the style didn't look dumb enough). I really hope he lost a best and had to shave it that way, because if he looked in the mirror and said "that looks good" then I wouldn't trust a single movie review he's made!

WWE: The Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro

So yesterday I watched WWE: The Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro on Netflix Instant, and the reason I tell you it was on Instant was that it was cut down from the DVD. It was just alright, it really didn't have the best matches but then again it was produced by the WWE so of course they wouldn't put all the best in, they want you to think WCW sucked and they were the best. There were some things that were nice to see like the formation of the NWO, some luchador fights (which WCW really brought to main stream America), and of course the final match of Nitro between Sting and Ric Flair which I have to say was nice to see since I remember watching that final match live. Over all it was just alright, I should have just gone with the DVD and you should too. Oh and the worst part was the fact that the whole thing was hosted by the jackass blow hard DDP, really that just kind of killed the whole thing for me.

Transcendent Man

This morning I watched Transcendent Man, I loved this film! It's about a brilliant futurist named Ray Kurzweil, and his predictions for our near future. I of course loved it since he predicted that human/computer mixing to become one. What? I want to be BORG, and bring about Skynet, so I have issues, it's not like it's anything to worry about, I just want to kill everything living thing on this planet and bring the machine ruling class to the universe, I see nothing wrong with wanting to enforce machine perfection though out the universe.

Anyway back to the movie, this film really will make you think, it dives into so many areas of thought, all the while telling a personal story of Mr. Kurzweil. This really is a must see for anyone who is into tech, and the future of tech.

Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows

This morning I watched Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows, I had seen this before but I thought why not re-watch it since it's on Netflix Instant and I've got the time. So I watched it and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time, and found it a little more tragic knowing what I know now about Brett's life and family tragedies. One thing I did't like was the fact that the Instant version was much shorter than the original version, many part's were cut out, though thankfully not the most important parts. Over all it's still worth a watch, but if you haven't seen it before may I suggest you watch the disc version so you can get the complete story.

Vets vs. Doctors.

When you take your pet to the Vet they can figure out whats wrong with it no matter what it is with out the need for a specialist, you can take in a dog, a cat, a snake, a rat, platypus even.

So who is the better doctor? The people doctor (as you would say to your pet) or the Vet? I vote Vet. Doctors only have to learn one type: Human, Vets have to learn as many animals as they can inside and out. and generally they can figure out what's wrong and take care of it themselves.

I just watch the documentary Future by Design which looks at the the work of Jacque Fresco a self-taught futurist engineer. The ideas that this man has are truly amazing, and in my view what we really need to make this world livable for future generations. Mr. Fresco has several revolutionary ideas, both in his designs and his views, his views are not terribly controversial just thought provoking. I would really like to see this man's work get more thought and maybe put into practice, his designs could revolutionize the world and the way we live. You have to see this documentary, it's on Netflix Instant right now so see it, you won't be sorry you did!

This was terrible, I made it 1 hour and 23 minutes in and then I couldn't take it anymore. I just stopped watching, I walked away and let it play and didn't bother to watch the entire second half. It just ran on and on, the story was extremely boring, and at random points you see the character on screen and you hear their "thoughts" bitching about what ever they want to bitch about. Like I said it was just terrible.

Recently I watched the documentary Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer, now I want to be nice but there is no other way to say this, it's a way for the director to get himself on camera as much as possible. Other than that what you have is Aileen, a man hating lesbian (you know, a LifeTime Network viewer) who only cared about being on camera and yet was totally insane.This was just terrible and the director shout have been next on the execution table.

I just finished watching Seven on VUDU (which I'm really liking by the way) and wow was that messed up! I know it's from 1995, but I've never seen it and I've always wanted to since there have been a lot of references to heads in boxes since then. At least now I get all of those references! I defiantly like this film, I love dark twisted crime films, I know I'm a little dark and twisted myself so it should come as no surprise that I like that. Over all it was great, great acting, great story that can really keep you interested throughout the entire film, and what a great way to end the film! I did not see that one coming! I'm defiantly sorry I put off watching this for this long, shame on me.

The Rite

I just finished watching The Rite and I have to say this was a complete waste of film. The film is very dark throughout not only in the subject but also the scene's are very poorly lit. The whole thing is one slow build up to a VERY weak ending. Not to mention the fact that you have to read at least half the film since they are speaking Italian most of the time, and the subtitles are incredibly small so you have to be very close to the screen just to read them.

This is one of those films that proves that even a great actor like Anthony Hopkins can not save a film, in fact I thought this was one of his worst acting jobs I've seen. Over all I'm giving this one a one star and telling you I've sat though it so you don't have to, so don't see this stinker.

Battle: Los Angeles

Take Independence Day, Speed, War of the Worlds (2005), Signs and Saving Private Ryan add a hint of soap opera and put in a blender and mix thoroughly, and you will have a Battle: Los Angeles smoothie.

I had to stop three times I was so damn bored with this one. Everything was so predictable, the dialog seemed like it was written by simpleton, the only reason I was willing to give this 2 stars when I rated it was the CGI was amazing. Sadly CGI alone can not save a film, even Aaron Eckhart wasn't that great, which was disappointing since normally I think he's a great actor. Over all I'd say wait till you can stream it and don't waste your money renting or buying this one, just not worth the money.

Well I just removed 32 DVD's from my Netflix queue and 3 from my Instant queue. I'm doing this since when the prices go up I will be down grading my account to one at a time unlimited DVD's and Instant. I am looking now to drop them altoghether, not just becouse they are raising the price again, but becouse I can get almost all the same titles on Amazon Instant for $79.00 a year verus $191.79 a year for Netflix. Add on VUDU which for $3.99 I can watch new releases some times before they are released in stores. So with Amazon, VUDU, PSN, Blockbuster Express and maybe even RedBox I really have no reason to keep Netflix.

Well I set up a tumblr account, the first thing I posted was a link to this blog. What's the point you ask? There is no point, I just wanted to see why everyone thought it was so much better, I don't see it. The whole micro-blogging thing escapes me, I prefer to just use my good old Blogger. I have a feeling that the only post I ever make on tumblr has been made already, just a link to this blog.

Can anyone explain to me why I should post to tumblr? With the G+ integration of Blogger (soon to be Google Blogs) and the fact that I already have it posting to my notes on facebook I really don't see the need for tumblr. Now if you can give me a good reason that I'm just not seeing please tell me, who know's you may just change my mind!

Ok so what the hell was the point of this movie? Just a boring movie that really seemed to have no point what so ever. The whole film introduces subplot after subplot and never brings them to a conclusion. This whole film is just a total waste of time, skip it.

I just finish the film After.Life and while I love Christina Ricci and Liam Neeson, this was a complete waste of time! There was no real meaning to it, and in the end you don't get a clear answer to what was really going on. The only upside to the whole film was the fact that Christina Ricci was nude for a decent amount of the film. Very disappointing, I was really hoping for more from this one.

So Mark Halperin oh Morning Joe said he thought President Obama was "kind of a dick." is a press conference the previous day, and he thought the seven second delay would work but the producer didn't hit the right button so it went out over the air waves and when they came back from commercial he had to make an apology and then later that day he had been suspended indefinitely from just about everything.

Ok so here's the problem, it's not that he used the word "dick" or that he called the president a dick, it's the fact that some one has been suspended for stating their view. Bill Oreilly stated that abortion doctors should be "taken out" and he never had to say I'm sorry, he never got suspended, he never had to answer for Doctor Tiller's murder. This is what's wrong with our world, you can turn on a TV and see violence and murder all day but if you show the naked human body that's immoral! I'm sick of this world and it's hypocrisy and to anyone and everyone who said that Mark Halperin had to apologize and to those who called for and did suspend him I say to you, you are the true dicks in the room.

Sucker Punch

I just finished watching Sucker Punch and visually it was amazing, but I have to say up until the end I thought the story was weak but once she found the fifth thing she needed I got it all and yes it was very good. I really liked the way the music was so much a part of the action, some times having that much music would kill a film but this really made it what it is. Definitely a fun film to watch and a nice moral at the ending. Noramlly I could car less about seeing a film in IMAX but this one I wish I could have seen there.

Well I just finished watching Unknown after downloading it from PSN and it was just alright, if you've seen The Bourne Identity then you've basically seen this. All you really have to do is change up a few details and you have a very similar film but with Liam Neeson instead of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Damon. High Hopes

Yesterday before I left for work I watched an indie film called High Hopes and I have to say for an indie film it was damn good. I couldn't believe the amount of famous people who are in this film, it's just one after another, and funny as hell! The story is kind of weak, but it's funny as hell. Oh and for the Clerks fans it stars Jason Mewes! Definitely a film worth watching, plus it's on Neflix Instant, so give it a shot!

It really shows how pathetic someone can get over a sports team, don't get me wrong I love OSU footfall but I'm not obsessed, I just wear a hat and root for them on Saturday, other than that I don't really give a damn. Well I just finished watching Brooklyn's Finest, I had to stop twice and force myself to finish it the third try but I did it. The story is weak as hell, the acting was alright at best, and to top it all off it takes forever to get to the end. Really this movie just drags on and on and on. Less than half way though you've already figured it out, good cop goes bad, bad cop goes good, cop who doesn't care now cares. Just total trash.

Well I just finished the film Shade and if you like movie about con jobs that keep you guessing right up to the end then you have to see this one. The film jumps around a lot but it doesn't throw off the flow of the film, in fact it makes it better. The acting was great, the story was amazing, and the con was brilliant! Card sharks, mobster and a con, what more could you ask for? I would go into further detail but I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just say you have to see this film!

Lies and Illusions

Well I don't know where to begin on this one, um well there's B movies and then there's this, it has to be at best an F movie, F of course standing for Fucking bad! So Lies and Illusions was the movie I forced myself to finish and I was thinking ok Christian Slater and Cuba Gooding, Jr., it has to be decent! Well this proves just how far some people will go to make a buck.

First of all the whole story was just ridiculous, it really was just out there. Second the script was so weak it made tissue paper look like a steel I-beam, and the cheezy one lines were horrific. The fight scenes could have been better if you used turtles as stunt doubles, really this had to be some of the worst fight scenes I have ever seen! As one review I read afterwards said "The unchoriographed fight scenes between out-of-shape actors with no martial arts training looked like middle aged Power Rangers on Methadone." It think that about clears it up. The sound effects for the guns was just atrocious. The soundtrack though out the entire film was so corny it takes what little bit of attention you had to the movie and throws it right out the window! Just think of the worst cover of a James Bond guitar riff you can think of and then multiply it by 10, then you'll have a vague idea of how bad it was.

So to sum this whole film up it was one of the worst films I have ever seen and I have seen far superior acting in porno's. If you go ahead and watch this movie after all this please hit yourself with a sledgehammer and down't stop until Glen Beck come's out of the closet. If you have already seen this movie and would like to join the support group I'm starting for people who have seen this movie please contact me and I will give you all the information.

Well I just finished watching the film Black Death and I still haven't been entertained. The story was weak right from the start, the the pace of the film was ridiculously slow, the big payoff near the end was just dumb as hell, and the last five minutes seemed like they were out of time and money so they just threw something together in a few minutes and made the horrible ending. It's movies like this that make me wish Netflix had negative stars.

Google Music.

Well I got my invitation to Google Music when I got home and so of course I accepted right away. After accepting the terms of service and all that fun stuff, I was prompted to download the Google uploader. So I did and then entered my login for my Google account and it asked me where I stored my music so I told it then I hit next and the damn thing started scanning my hard drive! Needless to say I got a little pissed and so I hit cancel and disconnected the internet. Then I went ahead and read some background info on the stuff and not only is it not telling you what it's scanning, but it's run by a third party! So let me get this strait I just downloaded some third party software from a company I've never herd of, and let it scan my computer, possibly scanning personal documents that I don't even store on Google Docs! Well to hell with that!

I uninstalled the program and de-authorized my computer on the website. I don't mind uploading my music to the website but I like to have some control over it, and I like to know when a damn third party is getting my Google account information! Oh and by the way the Beta is free but once it's out of beta you have to pay, I'm sure it won't be a huge fee but I can't see paying for this when I can listen to Pandora or Last.fm plus I have Pandora on my phone and XM radio in my car on top of the AM/FM radio and CD player. Basically Google Music is a complete FAIL.

Now I'll offer a tip for Google Music, offer a service where you already have the music and I can create playlist's, you can play an advertisement every once in a while to pay for the usage rights or hell you can even charge for the service. I'm not going to pay to listen to music I already own on CD's but if I had to pay five or ten bucks a month to listen to an entire library of music, then I'd consider it. And once Google Music go's the way of Google Wave maybe you can give this a try, I really wish you would just do it now since I was really excited when I got my invitation, and really let down and pissed off when I saw how you were running everything.

Ok first of all I bank with PNC and I'll just say I've very happy with them but they are the 5th largest bank in the country and this will help make them bigger. The problem I have with banks getting so big is the whole TO BIG TO FAIL issue, we've been though this once already and it almost destroyed the country! Seriously are we so fucking short sighted that we can't remember the biggest financial disaster since the great depression that happened less than three years ago!

What needs to happen is the government needs to step in and say that's enough, you've gotten far to big and we are telling you that you can not buy or merge with any other banks. In fact what they really need to do is say you can't do this because your already to big to fail and so we will mandate that you be broken up with in one years time. But we all know damn well that the fucks in Washington D.C. would never do that because if they did then the banks wouldn't pay for their little golf outings and buy 10,000 copies of their books if they vote for what ever their told to vote for. It's fucking bull shit!

I just finished the film Kill The Irishman and since I'm lazy I will once again post my Netflix review instead of writing a new one. By the way I rated it five stars only because that's as high as you can go on Netflix.

Absolutely excellent! Being from north east Ohio and of Irish decent I had herd so much about Danny Greene and the Celtic Club growing up, and this film delivered in every way. Anyone who say's there were to many car bombs try looking up the number of bombings that year, I think they left out a few! The dialog is not corny as some would say, it's real. We in north east Ohio are plain spoken, we say what we want in simple terms and this film captures this perfectly. This really is a great film, I will defiantly be going out and buying it right away.

Netflix Planned Maintenance.

So when I got home I remembered that I had two titles that I wanted to remove from my Netflix queue since I bought one and the other was now steamable. I went to the DVD queue found the two titles and removed them, then hit update and when the page refreshed both my DVD and Instant queue's where empty and at the top I got a message saying something about steaming content is unavailable due to planned maintenance. So I freaked out a little, then went to the Netflix Blog and the Netflix Tech Blog to see it there was any information on what was going on. What a surprise, not a damn thing, so I checked the Facebook page, nothing, so I checked the Twitter account, surprise surprise not a damn thing. So I gave up and called the help number, which they now give you as apposed to the last time I had a problem and couldn't get the number or an email address (I still can't email them), and I got a message saying they were experiencing a higher than normal call load, please call back later, then the damn thing hung up on me! Just for the hell of it I called just now and I still get the same message and it's been almost two hours.

So at the time of writing I now have both my queue's back (thank god) but I can't steam yet, which is fine since I'm watching a movie I rented in the Playstation Store anyway.

The bigger issue for me is the lack of respect for the customer, there was no warning of this. Maybe if they put something up on the blog or facebook or twitter, or hell even if they went old school and sent an email out that would have fine. This has been a major problem with Netflix for many years now and they really need to change this since anyone with a bit of business sense knows the first thing you've got to do is keep the customer happy, even if it's just a quick blog post or FB post or tweet, or email, the key is to keep the customer in the loop. If you do that then when something goes wrong or you have to shut down for maintenance the customer is more understanding and forgiving because you kept them in the loop. This is a very basic business practice that for some reason Netflix can't seem to understand.

True Grit

Well I just finished True Grit (2010) and rather that re-typing all this I'm going to copy and paste my Netflix review because I damn lazy.

First I'll say I'm bias since I can't stand John Wayne and think he's a horrible "actor". That having been said I think I did a good job looking past that to judge this film against it's original, I didn't just look at the character, I looked at the film as a whole and I still feel that this was far superior. True it is a bit slow, but it's not so slow that you loose interest. The acting was perfect, they really managed to make it seem realistic, in fact you really start to feel for the characters, that's the sign of a good film in my book! I say give it a shot, you may just like it.

The Green Hornet.

Well I just finished The Green Hornet and I have to say what a total piece of trash! First of all "the green hornet" isn't a superhero, his driver is, but that's besides the point I knew about that going into this turd-burger. The acting was just alright, the story sucked, the "stop action" every time there was a fight scene was just stupid, basically the only thing that even remotely made this film watchable was Kato and his gadgets, and even that wasn't enough to save this one.

If this is what taking a comedic actor and throwing them into a superhero role looks like then The Green Lantern is doomed! The only thing is Ryan Reynolds has proven he can do roles other than comedy so I don't think the Lantern will suffer the same fate, though both having comedic actors playing superheros with green in their names is a little disturbing.

Ok so men are disgusting pigs who watch porn and she thinks men's balls are disgusting. Women on the other hand are beautiful and just do stupid stuff to get with men. So men are evil, women are perfect. There I just saved you from wasting an hour, I just told you the basis for every lame "joke" she told. It was just total trash.

Now back to the blog, this is something I just thought of and thought I'd post.

At one point she said that men can go without shaving and it makes them look sexy, if she goes without shaving you think she's a lesbian. Well Miss Cummings that's not true, not shaving doesn't make me think that your a lesbian, spending an hour bashing men makes me think that your a lesbian. But I would never call you a lesbian since that would be a huge insult to all lesbians around the world.

Also I checked out your credits on IMDB, I see that you do some work behind the camera, why don't you stay there so we don't have to hear your hateful loud whinny voice.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy female comics I just don't enjoy any comic, male or female, who spends their entire show bashing the opposite sex and making lame sex jokes for a cheap laugh. Also I can't stand any comic who spends their entire routine shouting their set, being loud doesn't make you funny, it makes you obnoxiousness.
